Aubrey and Ethan’s wedding at Lakefront Residence was such a beautiful celebration of love, laughter, and family. As an Auckland wedding photographer, I get to meet so many amazing couples — and these two truly stood out for their warmth, humour, and big-hearted energy.

Aubrey has this calming presence that instantly puts you at ease, while Ethan is full of life and always ready to dive in and give anything a go. Together, they make such a vibrant pair — full of heart, fun, and a few tearful, joy-filled moments that were a privilege to capture.

They’re not just a couple, but a family — proud parents to three wonderful children who added so much joy and personality to the day. There were plenty of laughs shared, a few happy tears, and that relaxed, genuine connection that makes photographing days like this such a pleasure.

Out on the stunning grounds of Lakefront Residence, we took some time to capture portraits that reflected their easygoing personalities and the love they share. They were absolute legends in front of the camera — even if it took a touch of extra encouragement (and a few giggles) from me along the way!
